The 4mm 9ct gold ring is designed by Jack and handmade in our workshop in Westport. It is hallmarked by Assay Office in Dublin. This exclusively designed ring makes a special gift for those living away from home or those that have family and fond memories of Westport and Mayo.

The Westport Ring has 6 symbols of the historic monuments of Westport and the surrounding areas. The 6 Symbols include Clew Bay, Westport Town Clock, The Octagon, The Statue of St Patrick , the Bridge on the Mall River and Croagh Patrick.

The wave on the ring represents Clew Bay. The Town Clock was built in 1947 built on the site of an old fountain. The Octagon was erected in 1845 and the statue of St .Patrick was erected on top of the column in 1990. The Bridge on the ring represents the Bridge on the Mall over the Carrowbeg River.  Croagh Patrick is Ireland’s most famous holy mountain. From its summit there are commanding views of Partry Mountains, Sheefy, Clare Island, Achill Island and Nephin Mountains. The Famine Ship is  a bronze memorial at the foot of the reek. It was created by renowned sculptor John Behan and erected in 1997 at the foot of the reek in the village of Murrisk just outside Westport.

This ring can be engraved complements of Jack Dylan Jewellers. Please leave details of engravement in notes section at the checkout.
