Polishing & Rhodium Plating

With the move in fashion over the years towards white metals such as white gold and platinum, rhodium plating has become an integral part in jewellery maintenance. Rhodium, a member of the platinum family, is used to give white metals a high polish finish.

It should be applied every six months to two years, depending on wear. The process involves firstly removing the old rhodium, secondly polishing the metal to remove all scratches and marks, and finally applying the new plating of rhodium. The process is so complete that the piece will appear to be like the day it was purchased.

Rhodium plating costs €40 per ring and may take up to 10 -12 working days. 

Other pieces of jewellery such as bracelets, watches and pendants are priced on an individual basis.
